Yvonne Apiyo Brändle-Amolo

The Swiss femme artivist and film director is mainly known for her fight against racism in Switzerland, which she described in her award-winning film «NOT Swiss Made", as well as for her participation in the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015.

"Born on the shores of Lake Victoria, where the hippos are friendly and the sugar cane grows in abundance."

As a former 2019 OHCHR Person of African Descent fellow, croupière in famous Swiss casinos, owner of a tea company in London... the African Queen touches the hearts and souls of people all over the world with her charm and energy.

She is currently working on her next film, a 90-minute version of the award-winning short film "Not Swiss Made", promoting her new fashion label A. A. Jungle Queen, and undertaking projects with her NGO Pawa.
